When I Write About A "Grave Constitutional Crisis" - what is implied is that when The Public Law is DEFECTIVE, it is "POLITICS" itself that is LAWLESS: Take #3

I shall continue from my previous post - all that I wrote about "Argumentation" - for a Fresh Thought did blow through the Windmills of My Mind this morning - that the word "politics" in the "good sense" of Open Argumentation - had a "civilising purpose" in Western Political Philosophy - and indeed, had this been a "criminal" or "antisocial" activity, then why would Aristotle devote a volume to it? - a volume titled, Politics - and that Civilising Purpose is:

The Bring About A MORAL CONSENSUS Within A Free Polity

Thus, "Politics are the Public Actions of Free People" - and, if you tour Old Cities of Europe you find these Vast Open Squares - and, before modern parliaments were constructed, it is in these Open City Squares that Free Opinions would be Openly Argued.

Hence, too, the assertion that The Free Press serves as a "Para-Parliament."

And this Free Press is Very New.

And All Political Philosophy is HISTORY - not SCIENCE.

Further, this word "politics" - which comes to us from Ancient Athenian Democracy - which was the "political practice" of One City-State in an Entire Civilisation of MANY City-States - refers to REPUBLICANism in a FREE CITY - one in which The People "rule themselves" - and do NOT that the word "polis" means CITY - as in "metropolis" or "cosmopolitan" or - PERSEPOLIS is "The City of The Persians."

Just as the word "civilisation" has its root in the Latin civitas - which means CITY - so, St. Augustine's De Civitas Dei - is The City of God - which means that even then - the 4th century AD - NONE ever "imagined" a CIVILISATION of the gandhian kind:

"Self-Sufficient Village Republics"

BOTH these gandhian "ideas" are AHISTORIC - both "village" as well as "republic" are AHISTORIC - that is:

1. When these two words, "village" and "republics" are COMBINED - they are AHISTORIC to the Historical Idea of Civilisation.

2. Further, as Political Philosophy is HISTORY and NOT "Science" - this AHISTORIC "idea" of a Civilisation comprising "self-sufficient village republics" is also AHISTORIC towards THREE "POLITICAL IDEALS":

DEMOCRACY, REPUBLICANism, and POLITICS itself!

And that is why wee the most fucked-up poorest-of-the-poorest SHEEPLE on The Planet now SUFFER a Centralised State - why Every City & Every Town is a HELLHOLE - and if YOU - or your KIDS - continue with STATE EDUCATION - you are DOOMED.

Hence, "politics" - especially in INDIA! - should be looked upon with DEEP SUSPICION - as SOCIALism is, in any case, ANTIBUSINESS - hence, ANTIMARKET - hence, ANTISOCIAL.

Now, I have penned the above Fresh Thought that blew through the Windmills of My Mind this morning because - prior to this fortunate occurrence - I had gone through my Daily Business Noose as well as the other rags - and then, having decided what to write about today, I was visited by the thoughts above, and they make an excellent beginning to this post.

Today, the Times of India's "internal debate" is on stuff that amartya sen has been talking about - and of the two opposing views, the Official "Times View" is titled:

Left Has Betrayed The Downtrodden

And so, I read it.

What did I find?

GROSS ERRORS WRIT LARGE!

The Official "Times View" concludes with words to the effect that The Commies should now FOCUS on DEVELOPMENT PROBLEMS that "really matter to the poor."

Now, THE DISSENT on "ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT" in the Impoverished Third World is straightforward:

- with this keynesian-welfarist amartya sen on one side;

- and Peter, Lord Bauer - the "dissenting 'development economist'" who also penned Dissent on Development - on The Other Side;

- and it all boils down to just this:

Is "Economic Development" A Role of The Market - where "economic activities" occur, where INDIVIDUAL "economic achievements" are made - or this A New Role of The Predatory State - a State whose Lowest Functionaries are VISIBLE PREDATORS on the poorest-of-the-poorest Street Trades Throughout Urban India - something Clearly VISIBLE right out there outside Delhi's "Times House" - on the footpaths of Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg.

To assert that the poor-are-poor NOT because of such State Predation, NOT because of INFLATIONism, and then, to take sides with amartya and POISON PUBLIC OPINION with support for Expanded State Budgets on various "social programmes" - well, this is:

IGNORANCE-on-STILTS!

Now, it just so happens that my Daily Business Noose today contains two columns well worth a dekko - the first of them on SINGAPORE, by that market-savvy "professional wealth manager" V Anantha Nageswaran - who is NOT an "economist" - but I strongly advise ALL my readers to carefully read it, for it tells in Graphic Detail of The Complete Economic Mess that is staring-at-the-face of Singapore - only because of State Intervention in Money & Banking.

Nageswaran advises Singapore CONTINUE pursuing "monetary policy-making" - but The Other Way Around - this time, by "allowing currency appreciation."

Again, The Only Question is:

Is This Money & Banking BUSINESS Any "State Business"?

When THEY have made a Worldwide Mess - a WORLDWIDE DISASTER, in fact - which is PRECISELY what THEY have done with "Economic Development" in this Third World of ours - the One & Only DEBATE - the One & Only ARGUMENTATION required - for BOTH a MORAL as well as INTELLECTUAL CONSENSUS to "emerge" within Any Polity must needs be based on the Clear Understanding that it is either The Market - or it is The State - and ANYTHING-in-BETWEEN is the Same Ol':

IGNORANCE-UPON-STILTS!

Anyway, the second opinion (not on website!) in my Daily Business Noose of today that I had wanted to draw my reader's attention to, penned by two professors of management form the USSA, is on "a banking-sovereign nexus" - and they are writing about the Economic Disaster facing the Eurozone - but they do NOT EXPLICITLY DECLARE that the Real Problem in The EUSSR is nothing but:

The Legitimacy of Socialist-Welfarist "Politics" Itself!

Allow me to explain-it-all very clearly for this Third World IMPOVERISHED nation-state:

All this keynesian "legal tender funny money" INFLATIONism is NECESSARY for WELFARISM - and This Does NOT Work - for the POOREST WORKERS - who find their Very Savings ERODED-in-VALUE - ENDLESSLY!

The Market as a "means" towards ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - The Peter, Lord Bauer School of Thought - it implies that in this Unhampered, Free Market, The Foremost Social Institution, where ANTISOCIALS are NOT WELCOME - well, in this foremost social institution, ALL INDIVIDUALS, if LEFT FREE to do so, shall make their Individual Economic Achievements - The Ruling Ethic being SELF-HELP - and MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

Thus, if The Left Has Betrayed The Downtrodden - as the Toi clearly says - then what a Free Market Fundamentalist like ME asserts is this:

Let The Downtrodden FREE!

Let The "Votes" of these Downtrodden NOT be the issue.

The Only Real Issues are MORAL & INTELLECTUAL - and NOT "political"!

Thus, "I" am NOT saying that "I" shall "help" The Downtrodden - although I am indeed INSISTING this is NOT a Role of The State - that this is not only "insincere" - its Real Purpose being only Expanded Budgets - and "votes," of course - but it is now a PROVEN FACT that these insincere NEGATIVE-SUM POLITICAL GAMES are actually DESTROYING CIVILISATION WORLDWIDE!

Why is this a Grave Constitutional Crisis?

Because, any Written Constitution - which is The Public Law - "legitimises" whatever POLITICIANS can DO when In Office.

The Grave Constitutional Crisis - WORLDWIDE! - is ONLY because even the "liberal constitutionalism" of The West has FAILED!

They could NOT LIMIT what any "democratically elected representative of the SHEEPLE" can actually DO - while In Office - while "operating" the Machinery of Coercion & Compulsion that is any STATE.
