The kids of today trip on all kinds of horrible tablets sold by chemists - and these
contain opiates, so they are technically "narcotics"; they sniff
petroleum-based solvents - ugh!; they swallow codeine-loaded cough
syrups; there is "smack"; and then there are all the horrible tobacco
products: gutka, bidis, and cigarettes, of course.
There is alcohol, too, which is legal.
Kids hate beer - because of the bitter taste. So they prefer to get loaded on sweet fruit
juice based white rum and vodka drinks: hard liquor. On that, add all
the harmful fructose. Quite a few quaff cocktails with caffeine laden
"energy drinks" - and that is hard liquor with added "stimulants."
And our good ol' Bhloat ki Booti - our very own cannabliss - is BANNED.
In fact, it has been CRIMINALISED.
It is for kids who seek pleasure in highs that I have penned a very brief The Intelligent Pleasure-Seeker's Guide to Getting High. It has also been permanently placed on the right-hand bar.
In this book - or booklet - I have talked of many excellent highs other than cannabliss which are also illegal.

or “Magic Mushrooms” - which are freely sold in Amsterdam. I have
described my own experience with this natural high that has come from
Mexico, where it has been used for over 5000 years, and which they
consider to be a Gift from the Gods. In India, you get them in
Kodaikanal - and they ought to be openly farmed and sold.
I have already written about coca being a far healthier stimulant than pills, or even tea and coffee, not to mention tobacco.
I
have written about "designer drugs" like Ecstasy and MDMA - based on my
own experience with them, and observation as well. Caution has also
been advised.
I have also written about the "major hallucinogen" LSD. And why the "minor hallucinogens" like cannabliss and psilocybin are far, far better.
There are separate chapters on "narcotics" as also the "highly avoidable."
I hope you kids learn from this effort of mine.
The moot point is that this is "hard knowledge" gained from "experimentation" as well as "observation"; further, medical inputs have contributed quite a bit.
Does anyone in our The State possess such hard knowledge? - all these drinkers of sweet milky teas, these cigarette smokers and heavy boozers?
Do they STUDY anything other than the Legislation that EMPOWERS them to fuck around with things they know nothin' about?
Do read "The Cannabis Debate" between our chief narco cop and our heaviest medic. The former sounds so completely IGNORANT that it's not funny.
None of these bans ever work - just that we all get fucked and cops gain. Which is why the highest incidence of liver cirrhosis in Gujarat (where alcohol is banned) is among police inspectors.
