Born To Be Jailed! That Is The USSA Today

The following quote is from the latest issue of TIME magazine (April 2), from an article by Fareed Zakaria titled “Incarcerated Nation”:

“Mass incarceration on a scale almost unexampled in human history is a fundamental fact in our country [USA] today,” writes the New Yorker’s Adam Gopnik. “Over all, there are now more people under “correctional supervision” [that is, jail] in America – more than 6 million – than were in the Gulag Archipelago under Stalin at its height.”

America has become the USSA!

Statistics follow:

US: 760 prisoners per 100,000 citizens.
France: 63
Germany: 90
South Korea: 97
Britain: 153
Mexico: 208
Brazil: 242

The USA has 5 percent of the world’s population and 25 percent of the world’s jailed prisoners.

The Cause: The “War on Drugs.”

In 2009, 1.66 million US citizens were arrested on drug charges, more than were arrested on assault and larceny charges. And 4 out of 5 of these arrests were simply for “possession.”

That means “traffickers” are going free.

Zakaria goes on to write about America’s “privatized prison system” – and how the private firms who run these prisons “lobby” politicians to increase their earnings.

They also lobby for more “drug laws” – and more stringent punishments, too.

Thus, since 1980, California has built one college campus and 21 prisons.

One college student costs the state $8,667.

One prisoner costs the state $45,006.

America needs Ron Paul!

I read about Mitt Romney saying “Russia is a public enemy.” Really?

Know thy enemy, Americans.

And do watch Russia Today – far better than CNN, Fox News or BBC. On RT, they have Max Keiser with his Keiser Report thrice a week. Watch it for real Economics. Today, they featured Charles Goyette, who spoke about how the US was going broke because of the US Fed. He also spoke about Ron Paul – how school kids flock to his lectures, shouting “End the Fed.”

Some days ago, the Keiser Report was on Ireland – and how the Irish have decided not to pay their taxes, because they know that all their money will go to bailing out European banks.

Banks are an enemy. And central banks are even worse.

The Irish are showing the way.

Ron Paul is a Freedom Man.
Ron Paul is a Gold Money man.
Ron Paul wants to End the Fed.

Good man.

Put Ron Paul in the Hot Seat before it is too late.

Think!

Freedom built America. As did Slavery.

Think!

Today, you are worse off than the USSR under Stalin!
