Continuing from where I left off yesterday, let me add that all "highs" are also fragmented bits of hard "knowledge." The LSE has a "Wine Appreciation Society" - and lots of foreign students join up. I did not - but there was a "Beers of the World" shop near my home, and I learnt a lot there. The owner, of course, possesses hard knowledge about beer. Interestingly, travel also matters - because in Germany, Holland, Belgium and some eastern nations, you find great beers that even this London shopkeeper knew nothing about.
Now, as in the case of beer and wine, so in the case of ganja-charas, all this is VERY OLD KNOWLEDGE.
It is a HISTORIC FACT that ganja-charas-bhang have been used in our region for millennia - as the sadhus bear evidence. A book of etiquette popular among Mughal gentlemen prescribed the smoking of charas - and Babur himself was a charsi.
Tobacco and tea are both NEW KNOWLEDGE - in our region.
Why should we throw the old knowledge out?
This "fragmentation of knowledge" is what makes the "centralisation of knowledge" IMPOSSIBLE. From central planning to centralised education to centralised decision-making on which high is "good" and which should be proscribed - all this is asking for an "omniscient, omnipotent and benevolent" STATE. This is the essence of STATOLATRY: The Worship of The State.
Then, there is the OTHER WAY:
By and large, people are "prudent." And getting blown is "risk-taking behaviour." However, even here, all the old, traditional highs - from beer and wine to ganja-charas to coca and khet - are surely the most healthful. They are so because men through the ages have opted for these - and survived pretty well, enjoying their lives, too.
So, let us make Daulatabad-upon-the-Sea a city where the phenomenon of the fragmentation of knowledge is well appreciated - especially in the nasha business. Let nashas be "knowledge-driven."
Today, this is also an area where IGNORANCE marks the TYRANNY that is the prohibition of ganja-charas in India.
Dictatorship of the Morons - once again.

Then, there is the OTHER WAY:
To believe in Liberty is to believe in God,
And have faith in His creation - MAN.
