The Law - In Daulatabad-upon-the-Sea

Today, the socialist State owns everything while wee the people own nothing. In Daulatabad-upon-the-Sea, things will be the other way around: the people will own Property. This will be their Private Property. Money will be gold - and gold is Private Property.

And Property will be inviolable by all - including the Lord Mayor and his servants.

Now, Property is the Basic Law of the market - a law that everyone already follows on their own, without knowing why. If a banana vendor comes to market, none will snatch his bananas; they will trade for them if they want them. Thus, in any bazaar, the goods arrayed in front of any vendor are assumed to be his - by all. It is this law that comes from the past that is the source of the market's "natural order." I am not "making the law"; rather, I am merely articulating a rule that all are already following.

Thus, your body is your private property - and you can decide what to put into it. Further, if you "combine your labour" with unowned soil then you have created your own Private Property - by "homesteading."

Everything else follows: first, contracts. And then, torts. So you can freely enter into rental, loan, mortgage, and wage contracts - which you cannot today in socialist India.

Further, if you or your property suffer losses because of negligence - and this will include road accidents, building collapses, adulteration of food, drink and medicines, etc. - you the victim will receive financial compensation from the perpetrator.

All these laws are "protective" of the individual and his properties. There is NO COERCION involved in these laws - unlike "democratic legislation."

The Principle of the Inviolability of Property is also the guarantor of Liberty - for then the ganja-charas inside your shop is yours and yours alone, and none can violate that.

So, there is first the "natural order" of the market - and then there will be these natural laws that protect. With these, order is guaranteed - without any "commands." Every citizen will be free to invest his Capital - his poonji - in whatever he wishes to, and the laws will protect him.

Nehru was a MORON who did not know what to command. He wanted to "command the economy." Hence this mess. He did not command his own servants correctly. Indeed, he ordered them to perform immoral acts.

And it is now firmly agreed upon that I will be the first Lord Mayor of Daulatabad-upon-the-Sea. I will be consulted by the people on all matters pertaining to Law.
